Carolyn Cook, aka Carolyn Jean at the Trillionth Page, and Renee of Renee's Book Addiction have a terrific discussion about The Bride of Casa Dracula and my series.
I know it's disappointing to some -- okay, to most -- that my life is not solely dedicated to posting videos of hawt vampires, and that I actually time time to write novels. But the interview is essential reading if you'd like to know more about what I'm actually trying to achieve in my Casa Dracula series.
From the discussion: "In a lot of ways, Bride is a picaresque comedy of manners (think Moll Flanders or Huck Finn meets Wooster & Jeeves or an Oscar Wilde play,) as much as it’s a paranormal/UF. All the 'rules' and customs she has to follow to keep the Vampire Council happy, and even the social rules she has a hard time following among her friends."
I'll be stopping over there today to comment in between hanging out with my best friend today, so leave a comment!
Otherwise, I'm taking the day off.
For "Blood Ties" fans, there's a petition going round to save the series. Here's the original promo for the vampire series.
Here's your Gratuitous Video of the Day.
It's the new trailer for "The Ugly Truth" starring the pretty Gerard Butler.
Here's a new video tribute to Richard Armitage as Guy of Ghisborne in "Robin Hood."

Hi, Renee and Carolyn, I really appreciated that you realized my books are more than just fun -- although the fun is fun, as all will agree.
Jane and Kristie, it's hard work going through these videos, but someone's gotta do it.
