Movies Online has sample posters for the next in the Twilight series, "New Moon."
I've had an amazing response to my poll for the Hawtest Vampire, which ends Sunday night. I'll probably have to spend hours compiling the results...and I'm thinking that pie charts won't work since I have too many nominees.
The poll really proved my expectations wrong. I thought Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) of "True Blood" and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) of "Twilight" would trounce the very deserving competition, like a fabulous Eurotrash Dracula (Gerard Butler) in the abominablel "Dracula 2000." (He still has the best vampire hair EVER!) Instead, Henry Fitzroy (Kyle Schmid) is kicking everyone's undead butt.
I'll have the results on Monday. I'm very bummed that neither Lifetime nor HBO responded to my inquiries for prizes. HBO, in particular, does nothing but spam bloggers to promote their shows. So HBO totally sucks. You can quote me on that.
On Monday, Kimberly Swan, the indefatigible reviewer and interviewer at Darque Reviews will be my guest and will give away a copy of Immortal Hunter, by Lynsay Sands, to someone who leaves a comment! Regular Vampire Wire readers know that I always check in with Kimberly to see what's new and exciting in paranormal fiction.

On to more important things, like frickin "Supernatural"! What was that last night? Here's a recap. "Could things get worse? Of course!" (Zap2It)
TV Squad asks, "Are fans ruining 'Supernatural'?" "Do you keep the fans happy, or do you decide to do what's best for the show? With the season finale coming up, I feel like we're on the verge of that decision."
I'm confused and intrigued. I do like evil Sam Winchester (Jared Paladecki) better than nice Sammy and we got to see him go all evil Willow on us. I don't understand why Dean (Jensen Ackles) hates Ruby (Gabrielle Cortese) so much, since she seems like she's on her side. And what are those angels up to? Hey, I've read Milton's Paradise Lost, so I know angels aren't always the good guys.
So, as usual, the show left me hanging anxiously for the next episode.

Everything's up in the air so far for mother's day. I do have a spawn, so naturally I have mixed feelings about getting only one day a year to acknowledge helping propagate the human species. Okay, this is why everyone thought that I actually didn't want kids! I totally heart my spawn!
Hey Marta!! My spawn is more like a sister to me because we go back and forth agruin most of the time... she is 15 and knows the world! Geesh!!!
I think we should have a whole month... oh hell make it 6 months out of the year to dedicated to us... I would love to not have to worrry about dishes, laundry, car pool, supper, breakfast, house work... oh the joY!!!

I love Mick!!! I hope to see him on a show soon (I'm still mad they canceled Moonlight, LOL). I don't watch much TV but when I heard about that show and I had that channel, I loved it. If you know of him being on anything else, can you post and let us know?

It was actually through this site that I even found out about the awesomeness of the "Blood Ties" tv series -- I've loved the books for years.
And I voted in the contest before I consumed a season and a half of the show in the last week. I totally get the Kyle-as-Henry love, and if I had my votes over, he'd get at least one, if not more. Because, holy crap, boyfriend is hotter than a two-dollar pistol. :)
Supernatural last night was crazy!!! I have no idea what will happen next week. I do hope somehow Sam and Dean will be able to salvage their relationship. The angels..I really hate them..

Thanks for the offer, Marta, but I'll let my current votes stand as the guys I did nominate are certainly hot in their own rights. :) Besides, it sounds like Kyle doesn't really need my li'l votes if he's laying that much waste! I certainly won't be sad if he wins.
