I'm thinking about cover art again, so here are a few upcoming books which use different blues and grays as well as interesting title fonts. Isn't the cover for K.J. Wignall's Alchemy lovely? Yes. Here's the summary:
'Run!' Will said to Eloise. She hesitated and he pushed behind her, grabbing the bird out of the air. But the sound of beating wings didn't stop. Eloise let out a cry and when he turned she'd been scratched on the head and was hitting another crow away. The vampire William of Mercia continues to search for answers about his long, undead life, together with Eloise, the girl with whom his fate is entwined. But the darkness doesn't yield its secrets easily. As they edge closer to the truth, it becomes clear that something evil knows their every move, and this time it's targeting the person Will needs most of all. Lost in a frozen landscape, powerful adversaries are locked in a battle that not everyone can survive, as destiny collides with a sorcerer's dark arts...To be released September 25.
Tomorrow and next week, I'm going to start having a mess o' contests and giving away swag, so be sure to come back. Oh, yeah, there will also be Gratuitous Videos of the Day.
GRATUITOUS VIDEOS OF THE DAY
I'm going to start with Lost Girl because I am thoroughly enjoying this urban fantasy from Canada. If you're not watching it, you're missing out on a clever show with likable characters, lots of action, a great cast, and lots of sizzle. I like that the show doesn't take itself too seriously, but manages to be affecting as well.

There are some author's books up there I enjoy - Tanya Huff, Karen Marie Moning and Stacey Jay! I didn't even realize they had books coming out soon. :) All with cool covers.
ICED... *takes a deep breath* ... I am so so soooooo excited for this book, here.. I do not even care about the cover, all I care is getting the book. Right. Now!!
Hi, Mardel, I was pleasantly surprised to come across those books, too, and, I'll post more about them.
Hey, Danny! If you review Iced please tell me so I can link to it.
I'm happy that your keeping the blog, but understand you can't post as often. I hate that everyone feels the need to be on the phone everywhere like the bathroom and movie theater. I love that I can take a pic and share it immediately. Have you been watching "Copper" on BBC America? It has Kyle Schmid.
