Welcome to My Blog, Says the Blogstriss to the Author

I'm a guest at a few different blogs now and you can visit and read my perspicacious, poignant, and heart-lifting answers to piercing questions about Halloween and books.

First, I have to give a sincere OMG! because JeanBookNerd already has over 5000 entries to a contest for Dark Companion and swag. Here's a sample of the shocking and totally honest Q&A.
Who was your first boyfriend?
Lying cheating two-timing Kevin, who hasn’t been seen since he dumped me for Miss Pizza Skank.
Rachel at Beauty and the Bookshelf hosts me for a very special "Don't Look Behind the Bookshelf" feature.  Here's a sample of my dazzling literary analysis.
If you could go back in time and rewrite the legend of a fictional monster/creature, which would you choose?
Well, I’d go back and make the Cat in the Hat less terrifying. He preys on children who are home alone and causes all sorts of mayhem. He is a fabulous dresser, so I’d let him keep his debonair style, but I would give him some sort of moral and ethical center instead of tempting children to “have fun that is funny.” The Cat is an egomaniacal monster, who’s always saying, “Look at me! Look at me now!” Destruction of a home is not funny! Okay, it’s a little funny.
But Thing One and Thing Two? Geez, the thought of them sends shivers down my spine.
Please come by and discuss your own terrifying Halloween characters!

Wednesday, my guest will be my pal Kristina Meister, whose debut urban fantasy, Craving, is now available!

GRATUITOUS VIDEOS OF THE DAY

The theme is whatever I find of some favorite couples. Enjoy!
